The obvious advantage of multimedia in training is that it can provide an indefinitely patient electronic tutor backed up with extensive and reliable reference material. Multimedia is suitable both for onsite and distance learning, and has the added advantage that progress can be monitored within the program to provide a record for each student and overall successrates for groups. Imedia creates solutions to suit the user, from extremely accessible general product guides to highly technical, financial or legal manuals. Programs are designed to reflect a familiar environment, using corporate graphics and referring to actual events and named individuals. We also provide training services which are specific to the multimedia software packages wehave in use. We are Authorised Asymetrix Software resellers for Scotland and the North England and provide standard and client specific M/M Toolbook v3.0/ v4.0 training.

Training Courses

The following is an outline of the structure and content of our Asymetrix MMToolbook and CBT Toolbook training courses, including:

Intensive Training - Introduction and Applications Development (2+ 2 = 4 days) This is appropriate for delegates who are new to Toolbook and want a firm grounding to enable them to build their own applications. In addition to the basic subjects outlined in the course overview, a selection of relevant multimedia modules would be covered where relevant (video, sound, animation) in the time available.

Intensive Training - Advanced Applications Development (2+ 2 = 4 days) This is for delegates who have some experience of Toolbook. They may have already built some simple applications and want to extend this to cover more advanced topics. Alternatively they may just have gone through the on-line help and tutorials for familiarisation. Basic programming experience (of any sort) would be an advantage in this course, but is not essential.
